- Business and Regulatory Environment Analysis – Conduct in-depth research and provide reports on market insights, business opportunities, industry trends, competing organizations, customer demographics, and new technologies in the renewable energy sector. Monitor ongoing and future developments in government policies and regulatory environments and evaluate their impact on the organization.
- Energy Modelling Simulations and Financial Modelling – Develop and refine energy models for solar, wind, hybrid, and battery storage projects. Perform energy modelling simulations and run test cases to optimize the performance and integration of renewable energy resources. Create digital twins to simulate and analyse real-world performance and predict future outcomes in the renewable energy sector. Monitor ongoing and future developments in government policies and regulatory environments and evaluate their impact on the organization
- Bid Appraisal and Bid Management - Analyse and appraise business opportunities and tenders, and prepare comprehensive bid submissions, Seek cross-functional inputs and management approval for bids. Provide industry-competitor scenarios and prepare bid responses to maximize success rates.
- Securing clientele for Green Energy Open Access –Generate leads and close deals for private PPAs, focusing on open access mechanisms for captive/group captive/third-party/merchant/open market sales. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in government utilities and private C&I sectors to drive business growth.
- Policy Advocacy and Regulatory Analysis -Develop and maintain relationships with key corporate and government stakeholders to ensure support for project implementation and policy advocacy. To involve with Govt./Dept./Agencies/Industry Forums/Associations (FICCI/CII etc.) to come up with favourable Policies, Schemes, Tenders etc. to create business opportunities. Analyse regulatory changes and provide strategic recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Handholding of Cross Functional Teams for Project Implementation -Cross function interaction, coordination for Project Monitoring & Control, Finance & Accounts, Engineering & Construction, Secretarial & Project Compliance, Operation & Maintenance teams for successful implementation of the project.
- Dealing with Key Stakeholders for Project Implementation – Handling key stakeholders such as Implementing Agencies (Central/State), CTU/STU, Power Procurers, Other Central/State Agencies etc. for successful implementation of projects. Prepare compliance matrix with regard to requirements of Central/State Agencies/Departments ensure all compliance to project allocation, land acquisition, connectivity, financial closure, setting up of projects, power sale, on-time revenue realization, operations and maintenance of projects.
- Creation of Database, Information Systems, Issuance of White Papers and Reports etc. for Departmental Audit and Investor Due Diligence - Creation, maintaining and continuous updation of database, information systems, formats and reports, etc. for Departmental Audit and Investor Reporting
Requirement:-
- Fair knowledge of Indian Power Industry and Indian Renewable Energy Sector including the regulatory framework for the power and renewable energy
- Energy Modelling and Financial Modelling expert with proficiency in energy simulation tools and dashboard, power BI presentations.
- Knowledge of Business Environment, Key players/competitors in the industry and RE sector
- Knowledge of regulations both State and Central related to Licensing, Permits, Approvals, Regulatory requirements for setting up of projects and sale of power.
- Knowledge of Central/State/Local laws in India
- Dynamic, result oriented professional with strong analytical skills, show attention to detail, highly motivated, ability to work independently as well as contributing to a team
- Willing to travel, flexible and dynamic
- Consistent in follow-through and resourcefulness, in order to achieve organizational goals and objectives
