BCI~IT is seeking a Python Backend Consultant to assist in engineering automated data pipelines and robust backend data processing workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain backend data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) scripts.
• Develop scalable Python backend modules to ingest data from diverse source systems.
• Construct automated data pipelines and orchestrate workflows using tools like Apache Airflow.
• Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and schema migrations.
• Validate data integrity and implement monitoring checks across pipeline stages.
• Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to clarify transformation rules.
• Build RESTful APIs to expose curated datasets to internal and external clients.
• Perform profiling and debugging of Python scripts to improve processing throughput.
• Integrate third-party data APIs and cloud storage services smoothly into pipelines.
• Maintain technical documentation covering data lineage, schema definitions, and APIs.
• Participate in agile sprints, daily standups, and codebase peer reviews.
