Cloud Devops Engineer role with IT Services Client is a delivery-focused opportunity based in Vadodara, India.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and platform services, enabling our development teams to deploy and run applications efficiently and securely at scale. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure & Platform Management Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform Build and manage containerized application platforms using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or similar tools Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitLab CI Manage service mesh implementations and microservices architecture Automation & Tooling Develop automation tools and scripts to improve operational efficiency Create self-service platforms and tools for development teams Implement automated deployment, scaling, and recovery mechanisms Build monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Cloud Operations Suite (formerly Stackdriver) Security & Compliance Implement security best practices across GCP infrastructure Manage IAM policies, service accounts, and access controls Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements Conduct security assessments and remediate vulnerabilities Implement network security policies and firewall rules Performance & Cost Optimization Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure costs Implement resource tagging and cost allocation strategies Analyze and improve application and infrastructure performance Right-size compute resources and implement autoscaling policies Collaboration & Support Work closely with development teams to understand their platform needs Provide technical guidance and support for cloud-native application development Participate in on-call rota

• Design, build, and improve software systems that support the goals of the Cloud Devops Engineer role with IT Services Client function.
• Translate product or business requirements into clean, maintainable technical solutions.
• Write high-quality code with appropriate testing, code review, and documentation discipline.
• Collaborate with product, design, QA, and peer engineers to deliver reliable releases.
• Investigate bugs, performance issues, and production risks with a strong root-cause mindset.
• Improve system reliability, observability, and maintainability through thoughtful engineering decisions.
• Contribute to architecture and implementation discussions with pragmatic technical trade-offs.
• Break down complex work into clear milestones and communicate status transparently.
• Refactor and simplify existing code where it improves long-term velocity and quality.
• Support release readiness by validating edge cases, dependencies, and rollback considerations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong coding fundamentals with attention to reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Experience working with code reviews, testing practices, and collaborative delivery workflows.
• Ability to break down ambiguous problems into clear technical solutions.
• Comfort partnering with cross-functional teams in iterative product or platform environments.
• Strong debugging, communication, and ownership skills across the software lifecycle.
