Description : We are looking for a skilled GCP DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have experience in automation, CI/CD pipelines, cloud architecture, and infrastructure as code.

• Key Responsibilities : - Design and manage cloud infrastructure using GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and Kubernetes Engine - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Cloud Build - Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager - Monitor systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and GCP Monitoring - Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance optimization - Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes - Manage version control systems such as Git - Implement security best practices including IAM roles, network policies, and data protection - Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability Required Skills & Qualifications : - Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services - Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell - Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) - Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) - Understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture - Experience with monitoring and logging tools Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with microservices architecture - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies - Knowledge of multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure is a plus) Education & Experience : - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field - 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering
• Design, build, and improve software systems that support the goals of the GCP DevOps Engineer function.
• Translate product or business requirements into clean, maintainable technical solutions.
• Write high-quality code with appropriate testing, code review, and documentation discipline.
• Collaborate with product, design, QA, and peer engineers to deliver reliable releases.
• Investigate bugs, performance issues, and production risks with a strong root-cause mindset.
• Improve system reliability, observability, and maintainability through thoughtful engineering decisions.
• Contribute to architecture and implementation discussions with pragmatic technical trade-offs.
• Break down complex work into clear milestones and communicate status transparently.
• Refactor and simplify existing code where it improves long-term velocity and quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong coding fundamentals with attention to reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Experience working with code reviews, testing practices, and collaborative delivery workflows.
• Ability to break down ambiguous problems into clear technical solutions.
• Comfort partnering with cross-functional teams in iterative product or platform environments.
• Strong debugging, communication, and ownership skills across the software lifecycle.
