Key Responsibilities

• Lead image quality (IQ) tuning and evaluation for camera modules powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms.
• Tune camera Image Signal Processor (ISP) blocks including 3A (Auto Exposure, Auto White Balance, Auto Focus), noise reduction, and color processing.
• Define objective and subjective IQ test methodologies, acceptance criteria, and benchmark standards.
• Analyze image sensor characteristics, lens optics, and camera performance across diverse lighting conditions.
• Drive laboratory camera testing using standard charts, lighting booths, and automated measurement tools.
• Collaborate with algorithm development teams to validate and integrate next-generation imaging features.
• Partner with smartphone OEMs and hardware vendors to troubleshoot and resolve customer-reported camera issues.
• Develop automation scripts in Python or MATLAB for test image capture, processing, and data analysis.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior image quality engineers within the camera engineering organization.
• Evaluate competitor devices and industry trends to establish best-in-class camera benchmark ratings.
• Author technical documentation, camera tuning guidelines, and comprehensive image quality reports.
