Java Backend Developer · Mumbai

PrimeSoft is seeking a dedicated Java Backend Developer / Programmer Analyst to develop, maintain, and support enterprise and healthcare software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical specifications and architecture diagrams from business requirements.
• Design, develop, code, test, and debug backend Java applications and services.
• Develop and implement secure APIs using REST and SOAP web service protocols.
• Write, tune, and optimize complex SQL queries and database procedures in Oracle.
• Develop and execute comprehensive unit and automated test scenarios using JUnit.
• Integrate custom Java applications with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) platforms.
• Support healthcare and lab patient testing applications with high reliability.
• Provide on-call production support, incident management, and issue troubleshooting.
• Create technical design documentation using tools like Microsoft Visio and Word.
• Analyze and alter existing programs to increase operating efficiency and adapt new features.
• Collaborate with business users and technical teams to clarify program objectives.
