Malabar Gold & Diamonds is looking for a dynamic General Management Trainee in Kolkata to undergo structured cross-functional training across retail, store operations, and business management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undergo intensive rotational training across store operations, inventory management, and customer service.
• Assist retail store managers in day-to-day showroom administration and customer relations.
• Monitor floor operations to ensure adherence to brand guidelines and premium service standards.
• Analyze daily sales performance, store footfall metrics, and conversion rates.
• Participate in stock auditing, merchandise planning, and inventory control procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, logistics, finance, and marketing.
• Coordinate customer grievance redressal and ensure high standards of customer satisfaction.
• Support the planning and execution of promotional campaigns and seasonal retail events.
• Assist in managing showroom staff scheduling, floor deployment, and initial training.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend practical process improvement initiatives.
• Prepare detailed management reports and presentations on operational KPIs for branch leaders.
