Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable artificial intelligence and machine learning models for satellite mission systems.
• Implement computer vision and predictive analytics algorithms for processing satellite payload and telemetry data.
• Architect robust backend software pipelines to ingest, clean, and process large volumes of orbital and sensor data.
• Collaborate with mission systems and flight software engineers to integrate AI models into ground and on-orbit software.
• Optimize AI/ML inference workloads for resource-constrained and high-reliability computing environments.
• Build and maintain automated MLOps workflows for model training, testing, versioning, and continuous deployment.
• Develop clean, modular, and maintainable software components using Python and C++.
• Perform algorithm validation, benchmarking, and unit/integration testing against complex space simulation datasets.
• Implement security best practices and high-reliability coding standards for critical aerospace infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot AI software running in mission control and ground station environments.
• Document technical specifications, model architectures, interface control documents, and system performance reports.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews and technical roadmap planning.
