Deqode is seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build robust backend components, REST APIs, and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Contribute directly to architecture, high-level system design, and database schema planning.
• Write clean, maintainable, modular, and testable code adhering to industry standards.
• Profile, benchmark, and optimize application performance, reliability, and throughput.
• Integrate third-party RESTful APIs, web services, and enterprise external systems.
• Participate actively in peer code reviews to ensure quality and maintain code standards.
• Mentor junior engineering team members and foster technical excellence across the team.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex bugs across development, staging, and production environments.
• Work with product owners, architects, and frontend developers to define feature requirements.
• Stay abreast of modern Java frameworks, tools, and industry best practices.
