How will you make an impact in this role?

<li>Responsible for development, deployment, and validation of predictive model(s) and supporting use of models in AML use cases</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Understand the AML Program of AXP and the levers behind various decisions</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Analyse large amounts of data to derive business insights and create innovative solutions</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Leverage various traditional Unsupervised and supervised techniques, including isolation forest and gradient boosting methods</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Setup and develop use cases leveraging emerging technologies like GenAI</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Setup and monitor model performance using internal trackers and smart monitoring</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Working closely with GFCC, FIU, CFR capabilities teams to understand their requirements and provide solutions.</li>
</ul>

<li>Develop end-to-end data science solutions and work with internal governance team to get them approved</li>
</ul>

<li>Leverage the power of closed loop through Amex network to make decisions more intelligent and relevant</li>
</ul>

<li>Innovate with a focus on developing newer and better approaches using big data &amp; machine learning solution</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Clear articulation and structuring of project findings across to the leadership and key partners</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Maintain external lens and be aware of developments in the field of Finance/Payments/Analytics etc</li>
</ul>

Minimum Qualifications

<ul>
<li>A strong balance of technical knowledge and discernment with a proven track record of driving innovation and business metrics. Decision Science related work experience is highly desired</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>0-30 months of work experience in data science or statistics related field</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Excellent proficiency in Python (Data Science Related Libraries) and SQL</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Evidence of strong mathematical &amp; statistics knowledge</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Ability to drive project deliverables to achieve business results</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Innovative problem solver with ability to learn quickly and work independently with complex, unstructured initiatives</li>

<li>Bachelor’s degree in economics, Statistics, Computer Science Or related fields</li>
