QA Engineer (Contractual - 6 M · Hyderabad

AbhiBus is seeking an entry-level QA Engineer on a 6-month contract in Hyderabad to assist with functional, mobile, and web testing of travel booking platforms.

Responsibilities

• Review functional requirements and system specifications to design detailed test cases and test scenarios.
• Execute manual test cases across web and mobile platforms (Android/iOS) for new product features and enhancements.
• Identify, log, and track software bugs and anomalies using issue-tracking systems like JIRA.
• Perform regression testing across multiple browsers and devices prior to production deployments.
• Validate backend services and REST APIs using testing tools such as Postman.
• Collaborate closely with software developers and product managers to reproduce and verify defect fixes.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of test results, test logs, and quality metrics for each release cycle.
• Participate in sprint grooming, stand-ups, and release review meetings to communicate quality status.
• Assist in smoke testing and sanity testing during and after live platform deployments.
• Help identify test workflows suitable for future test automation.
• Ensure smooth booking flows, payment gateway integrations, and optimal user experience across travel portals.
