Responsibilities

• Monitor customer environments to detect, analyze, and escalate security threats in a timely manner.
• Operate within a 24x7 Security Operations Center (SOC) following established response workflows.
• Leverage the MITRE ATT&CK framework to analyze threat actor behavior and implement defensive measures.
• Conduct root cause analysis for identified security incidents and produce comprehensive incident reports.
• Collaborate with Data Centre and Network Operations Center (NOC) teams on operational issues.
• Track, update, and manage security event tickets in accordance with established SLA guidelines.
• Tune and optimize SIEM alert correlation rules to minimize false positive detections.
• Participate in periodic threat hunting exercises across protected client infrastructures.
• Assist with compliance audits and adherence to data security standards including GDPR.
• Maintain operational documentation, standard operating procedures, and incident response playbooks.
