Embitel Technologies, a Volkswagen Group Company and part of CARIAD, is seeking an experienced Technical Lead - Java Developer with AI Integration to drive connected car software platforms and digital automotive features.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and lead the development of enterprise-grade Java back-end services and microservices.
• Lead the integration of AI and Machine Learning models into existing Java-based automotive cloud platforms.
• Define end-to-end technical architectures, system specifications, and data flow pipelines for smart vehicle services.
• Provide technical guidance, architectural oversight, and code reviews to engineering team members.
• Collaborate with data science and AI engineering teams to deploy scalable model inference endpoints.
• Ensure robust API design, high performance, low latency, and maximum scalability across distributed systems.
• Implement automated unit, integration, and performance testing frameworks to maintain high software quality.
• Drive containerization and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines on cloud infrastructure.
• Address and resolve complex technical bottlenecks, concurrency challenges, and architectural debt.
• Coordinate with cross-functional global teams, product managers, and automotive stakeholders to deliver roadmap features.
• Enforce standard security guidelines, compliance mandates, and automotive software standards.
