Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Implement efficient database schemas, queries, and migrations using relational and NoSQL databases.
• Integrate backend platforms with IoT hardware, wearable medical sensors, and external healthcare systems.
• Write secure, performant, and testable server-side code following clean architecture principles.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and data encryption protocols to safeguard sensitive healthcare records.
• Monitor backend services, diagnose production issues, and optimize application throughput and latency.
• Write comprehensive unit, functional, and integration tests for all backend services.
• Participate actively in sprint planning, design discussions, and code review processes.
• Maintain clear technical documentation for backend APIs, data pipelines, and architecture.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to define API contracts and ensure seamless data exchange.
