KDK Software is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant as a Domain Consultant to provide subject matter expertise in direct and indirect taxation for tax technology products.

Responsibilities

• Track continuous updates, amendments, and notifications in Income Tax, GST, and TDS regulations.
• Translate regulatory tax requirements into functional specifications for software product development teams.
• Review, validate, and enhance tax filing processes, return computation logic, and system modules.
• Conduct in-depth tax research and functional analysis to support product enhancement and new features.
• Review and audit complex Income Tax, GST, and TDS calculations and simulated return filings.
• Deliver functional training sessions and domain guidance on tax laws to internal development and QA teams.
• Provide specialized functional troubleshooting to resolve escalated client issues with tax software products.
• Collaborate with UI/UX and engineering teams to ensure seamless user workflows for tax practitioners.
• Prepare test scenarios, user manuals, and release notes explaining regulatory changes implemented in the software.
• Benchmark tax software functionalities against industry standards and government compliance portals.
