Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Develop ETL/ELT workflows using AWS Glue, EMR, Python, and PySpark to process high-volume life sciences data.
• Architect and optimize data storage solutions across Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, and relational databases.
• Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to translate complex business needs into data pipelines.
• Implement data quality frameworks, monitoring systems, and automated alert mechanisms across the pipeline.
• Optimize SQL queries and data models for high-performance analytical queries and dashboarding.
• Ensure data security, governance, and regulatory compliance standards are maintained across all data environments.
• Write modular, clean, and testable code adhering to CI/CD and DevOps best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational pipeline failures and performance bottlenecks promptly.
• Support cross-functional consulting teams by providing timely access to curated, analysis-ready datasets.
