Cognizant is looking for an SDET specializing in Playwright automation to build robust test frameworks and ensure high software quality.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement Playwright test automation frameworks for web applications.
• Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive automated test suites.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing across releases.
• Embed automated test execution within DevOps and CI/CD workflows.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software bugs and anomalies.
• Collaborate closely with agile development teams to align testing with sprint goals.
• Perform API automation testing using RESTful tools and frameworks.
• Conduct code reviews for test automation scripts to maintain coding standards.
• Generate quality metrics and test summary reports for key stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot failed test runs and identify root causes in application or test code.
