AK IT SOLUTIONS is looking for a QA Engineer (Manual + Basic Automation) to test web and mobile applications, ensuring high software quality and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Review product requirement documents and software specifications to understand testing scope.
• Design, write, and execute comprehensive manual test cases, scenarios, and test suites.
• Perform functional, integration, usability, regression, and smoke testing across environments.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software bugs and anomalies using Jira.
• Develop and maintain basic automation test scripts using tools like Selenium and Java or Python.
• Verify defect fixes and perform re-testing to ensure resolved issues do not cause regressions.
• Collaborate closely with software developers and product managers to resolve critical defects.
• Execute basic database queries using SQL to validate back-end data consistency and integrity.
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing on web and mobile devices.
• Participate in agile sprint ceremonies, including daily standups and sprint planning.
• Maintain and update quality assurance documentation, user acceptance criteria, and test logs.
