Key Responsibilities

• Provide cross-functional technical leadership for large-scale distributed backend systems.
• Define architectural guidelines, service standards, and architectural blueprints across domains.
• Design high-throughput, fault-tolerant backend architectures handling billions of daily requests.
• Collaborate with engineering managers and technical directors to set long-term platform vision.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and drive architectural refactoring across legacy services.
• Champion engineering excellence, code quality, and continuous integration/deployment practices.
• Guide engineers through complex system design problems, design reviews, and technical trade-offs.
• Drive adoption of modern cloud-native tools, distributed messaging, and caching technologies.
• Lead post-mortems and implement systematic fixes to ensure platform reliability and resilience.
• Partner with product stakeholders to convert complex business requirements into technical roadmaps.
