Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and implementation of secure, distributed FinTech and payment services.
• Build reliable backend components supporting multi-currency transactions and reconciliation.
• Integrate global payment gateways, fraud detection mechanisms, and financial ledger services.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, data security, and PCI-DSS compliance across payment platforms.
• Mentor software engineering team members on system design, code quality, and testing standards.
• Drive low-latency system optimizations for mission-critical financial backend workflows.
• Partner with product, security, and operations teams to define robust FinTech solutions.
• Establish automated integration tests and resilient error handling for external provider integrations.
• Monitor production health, transaction latency, and failure rates with comprehensive metrics.
• Participate in architectural roadmap planning to scale Agoda’s global financial technology foundation.
