Responsibilities

• Take ownership of significant technical components end-to-end, from architecture and implementation to production rollout.
• Design, build, and optimize high-performance C++ systems operating at massive scale.
• Analyze complex technical problems, identifying root causes and defining practical system-level tradeoffs.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate features across core products.
• Author clean, modular, maintainable, and thoroughly tested production code following modern C++ standards.
• Profile memory usage, latency, and CPU bottlenecks to drive performance improvements.
• Establish engineering best practices, design guidelines, and code review standards across the module.
• Participate actively in architectural reviews and contribute to cross-team design decisions.
• Instrument observability, telemetry, and diagnostics to monitor production health and stability.
• Diagnose, debug, and resolve critical technical defects and regressions in existing systems.
• Evaluate modern technologies, libraries, and frameworks to enhance system resilience.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers through technical mentorship and paired programming.
