Product Engineer · Mumbai

Tata Consultancy Services is looking for a Product Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable software products and enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test scalable software components and features according to product specifications.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code across the technology stack.
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and quality assurance teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Implement and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices for backend systems.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and resolve technical defects.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to software engineering standards and best practices.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases to design schemas and optimize queries.
• Assist in building automated unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability.
• Support CI/CD pipeline automation, containerization, and cloud deployment activities.
• Monitor application stability and performance in development, staging, and production environments.
• Stay updated with emerging software technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns.
