Finance Manager (Chartered Accountant) (Pune) is a delivery-focused opportunity based in Pune, India.

Scalene has invented sustainable engineering solutions to tackle the following large-scale problems: - Lack of safe drinking water Environmental damage to water systems due to sewage, effluent, and desalination - Greenhouse gas impact and pollution caused by agriculture and biomass waste For waste - water recovery, we have developed a proprietary system called Tritron. It is currently installed and in operation at select India campuses of large listed Companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Scalene has invented sustainable engineering solutions to tackle the following large-scale problems: - Lack of safe drinking water Environmental damage to water systems due to sewage, effluent, and desalination - Greenhouse gas impact and pollution caused by agriculture and biomass waste For waste - water recovery, we have developed a proprietary system called Tritron
• It is currently installed and in operation at select India campuses of large listed Companies
• For converting organic waste to natural gas, we have developed Biothene
• Own core deliverables associated with the Finance Manager (Chartered Accountant) (Pune) role and execute them with strong accountability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to move work from planning through completion.
• Translate goals into clear actions, priorities, and day-to-day execution plans.
• Track progress closely and surface blockers before they affect outcomes.
• Apply sound judgment to maintain quality, consistency, and timely delivery.
• Create and maintain documentation, updates, or reporting that keeps stakeholders aligned.
• Identify process gaps and recommend practical improvements based on observed friction.
• Balance multiple priorities while keeping commitments visible and manageable.
• Support problem-solving across routine work and higher-priority escalations as needed.
