Responsibilities

• Conduct extensive legal research on civil, commercial, and regulatory laws using legal databases and case precedents.
• Draft legal notices, plaints, written statements, affidavits, petitions, and appeals for ongoing litigation matters.
• Assist senior advocates in preparing case strategies and compiling trial bundles for court proceedings.
• Attend hearings, manage daily cause lists, and track proceedings across trial courts, tribunals, and high courts.
• Interface with court registries, manage filing procedures, and ensure compliance with statutory timelines.
• Liaise with clients to gather facts, review documentation, and provide regular updates on case progression.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, settlements, and dispute resolution agreements.
• Maintain organized physical and digital case files, documentation, and court order records.
• Coordinate with briefing counsels, external legal advisors, and forensic experts as needed for litigation preparation.
• Prepare case summaries, legal briefs, and notes on arguments for court presentations.
• Ensure adherence to professional ethics and statutory standards governing legal practice.
