Siemens Energy is hiring a Mechanical Engineer in Hinjawadi, Pune to contribute to innovative turbogenerator design and service engineering solutions addressing modern energy challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Design turbogenerator components, mechanical sub-systems, and overall assemblies.
• Perform detailed engineering calculations and evaluate functionality of generator products.
• Execute mechanical design and drafting for Generator Service Engineering projects.
• Support service R&D initiatives to enhance product reliability, service life, and efficiency.
• Analyze field performance data and implement design improvements for operating generator fleets.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and field service teams to resolve complex engineering issues.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical specifications, CAD models, and 2D engineering drawings.
• Conduct tolerance stack-up and mechanical feasibility assessments for new assemblies.
• Participate in design review meetings and present technical recommendations to stakeholders.
• Ensure designs comply with international quality, safety, and energy industry standards.
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) and failure investigation for generator components.
• Assist in preparing technical documentation, maintenance manuals, and installation guidelines.
