MediNex Workforce is seeking a Financial Analyst Intern to assist with financial reporting, data review, budgeting support, and business performance analysis in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in compiling, reviewing, and verifying diverse financial information and datasets.
• Prepare structured spreadsheets and recurring periodic financial reports for review.
• Support ongoing budgeting, financial modeling, and forecasting activities.
• Compare planned projections against actual business figures to identify and explain variances.
• Organize, track, and maintain financial records, ledgers, and supporting documentation.
• Conduct fundamental research on target markets, industry peers, and business performance benchmarks.
• Assist with routine data validation, data hygiene, and financial account reconciliations.
• Format and present key analytical findings and executive summaries in structured reports.
• Monitor departmental operating expenses and flag unusual expenditure patterns.
• Collaborate with finance team members to gather operational data across projects.
• Help maintain and optimize analytical models built in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Support ad-hoc analytical assignments and management presentation preparations as needed.
