Civil Engineer (Site Engineer) · Chandigarh

Global Developers is seeking an honest and dedicated Civil Site Engineer to manage day-to-day operations and execution at our active construction project in New Chandigarh.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily building and structural construction activities across the project site.
• Ensure all site works adhere strictly to approved architectural blueprints, structural drawings, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate day-to-day task assignments for site supervisors, sub-contractors, and skilled labor.
• Conduct rigorous quality checks on concrete casting, reinforcement placement, masonry, and finishing works.
• Track inventory, material consumption, and storage, reporting any shortages or wastage to project managers.
• Inspect incoming raw materials and verify testing certificates for cement, steel, and aggregates.
• Enforce occupational health and safety standards across all active zones of the construction site.
• Perform leveling, layout marking, and alignment checks using surveying instruments.
• Prepare daily progress reports (DPR) recording manpower count, material usage, and milestones achieved.
• Verify contractor measurement sheets and assist with initial bill verification for executed works.
• Address on-site technical difficulties promptly to minimize operational delays.
