Key Responsibilities

• Provide deep insurance claims domain guidance to engineering, architecture, and client teams.
• Review and validate functional specifications and system architecture for claims platform modernization.
• Analyze end-to-end claims operations to recommend automation and digital self-service capabilities.
• Collaborate with business analysts to draft comprehensive business requirement documents (BRD).
• Guide development teams on complex claims business rules, statutory compliance, and coverage verification.
• Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) strategies and validate test scenarios against real-world claims cases.
• Assist clients in change management and post-implementation functional support for claims systems.
• Evaluate vendor software solutions and support claims platform selection assessments.
• Deliver domain training programs to bridge knowledge gaps within technical project teams.
• Contribute to thought leadership, reusable assets, and best practices within Cognizant's insurance community.
