Finance Analyst at BMC Helix, you will play a crucial role in supporting Business Leaders as a Finance Business Partner to drive top-line growth. Your responsibilities will include:- Serving as the trusted finance advisor to the Renewals business group- Analyzing renewals rates by product families and BUs- Conducting deep dive analysis into customer level/deal level impacts on renewal rates- Providing quarterly renewal rates reporting along with executive narratives to explain renewal rates impact on financial results- Developing and maintaining integrated financial reporting metrics including ownership for quarterly forecasts and Yearly Renewals Plan- Compiling and analyzing financial information and trends- Communicating results and recommendations to management and the business- Developing and maintaining processes and reports to track key renewal metrics- Supporting complex data management, analysis, and interpretation- Contributing to the enhancement of policies, procedures, and business practices that improve efficiency within the function and the business- Helping business clients understand the financial impact of their business decisions with accompanying analytics- Serving as a subject matter expert for renewals data and reporting for cross-functional business partners- Assisting with ad-hoc analysis and data mining efforts whenever required- Recommending and implementing process improvements using technical solutions- Cross-training team membersTo excel in this role, you will need to bring the following skills and experience:- Bachelors degree required, Finance or Accounting concentration preferred, with at least 7 years experience in a Business Finance (FP&A;) related role with an MBA- Strong knowledge of financial principles and accounting/budgeting practices- Robust analytical skills- Excellent communication skills- Advanced Excel Modelling, Hands-on experience on Workday Adaptive Planning and OneStream, and Good Power-Point skills- Tableau an

  • Own day-to-day Finance Analyst (Pune) workflows with a focus on throughput, control, and process clarity.
  • Track operational execution closely and intervene early when bottlenecks or exceptions emerge.
  • Coordinate across teams to keep dependencies moving and stakeholders informed.
  • Review reports, data, or reconciliations to identify gaps, risks, and corrective actions.
  • Standardize repeatable processes and improve documentation so work is easier to execute reliably.
  • Resolve escalations with urgency while preserving process integrity and service quality.
  • Maintain clear records of outcomes, blockers, and action items for operational visibility.
