Key Responsibilities

• Lead the civil and structural design for complex hydropower and pumped storage projects.
• Prepare and review hydraulic calculations, design reports, technical specifications, and drawings.
• Perform structural modeling, stability analysis, and geotechnical assessments for dams, powerhouses, tunnels, and intake structures.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including electromechanical, geotechnical, and environmental specialists.
• Ensure engineering designs comply with local, international, and client-specific standards and codes.
• Conduct feasibility studies, detailed project reports (DPR), and technical due diligence.
• Review contractor submittals, construction methodology, and provide technical guidance during project execution.
• Support project managers with resource planning, scheduling, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Participate in site visits and technical inspections to resolve complex on-site engineering challenges.
• Collaborate with clients, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders for design approvals and presentations.
• Mentor junior engineers and draftspersons to enhance technical delivery quality and efficiency.
