Senior Civil Engineer - Hydrop · Mumbai

AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to support the planning, design, and execution of hydropower and pumped storage infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil and structural engineering design for hydropower and pumped storage facilities.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site layout assessments, and hydraulic calculations for water infrastructure projects.
• Prepare comprehensive technical specifications, design drawings, and engineering reports.
• Perform structural modeling and stability analysis for dams, tunnels, penstocks, and powerhouses.
• Review project deliverables to ensure compliance with global safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including geotechnical, environmental, and electrical engineering specialists.
• Interface with clients, vendors, and regulatory authorities to resolve technical queries and project bottlenecks.
• Oversee quantity take-offs, cost estimations, and bill of quantities (BOQ) preparation.
• Support construction stage engineering and review contractor submittals and shop drawings.
• Evaluate project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies across design phases.
• Mentor junior and graduate civil engineers on technical standards and best practices.
