Job Responsibilities:

<li>Act as Project manager in new business initiatives requiring technology development with financial accounting, reporting, or control impacts</li>

<li>Define end-to-end balancing and controls within financial processes</li>
</ul>

<li>Create accounting requirements in consultation with Segment and Market Controllership</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Perform user acceptance testing of finance requirements</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Collaborate with process owners and provide post implementation support</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Create project documentation including process, system, and accounting flows, FRG etc.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Assist the organization on consultancy requests</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Assist on design changes/updates to SOR reporting</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Assist the organization in ensuring compliance to AEMP 16</li>
</ul>

Required Skills/Qualifications:

<ul>
<li>One to three years post graduate experience in a finance or technology related role</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Should have good exposure in defining system development requirements across business and technologies</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Preferably Fair understanding of the CM Fraud &amp; Disputes process, system, accounting &amp; reporting.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Should have basic understanding of the Banking process and associated accounting &amp; reconciliation process.</li>
</ul>
 
<ul>
<li>Preferably has some exposure in defining and validating system development and financial test cases</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Knowledge of American Express processes and systems required is a must</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Written and verbal communications with ability to communicate highly complex concepts and processes in simple terms and pragmatically</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Must be a self-starter, motivated with the ability to work in dynamic environment, able to adapt to unforeseen obstacles</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Recognizes the importance of teamwork to achieve objectives; brings in ideas, information, suggestions, and expertise from others outside the immediate team</li>

<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio) is a requirement to aid on written and visual communication as well as analytics</li>

<li>Basic understanding of project management and system implementation background is preferred</li>
