Responsibilities

• Preference will be given to Candidates with experience in either of Oil & Gas/ Grinding/ Calcination/ Evaporation/ other metal extraction/ mining industry.

• End-end project management including but not limited to planning, cost control, on-time delivery, cashflow management and stakeholder (client, contractor, local authorities etc) engagement of the project 

• Project Planning and Control : Prepare master schedules and review all projects involving resource Schedules, Execution methodologies, Milestones, Cash Flow projections and Budgets. Track plan vs actuals and devise tools to control the deviations. 

• Ensure smooth functioning of the project in terms of quality, time, and cost including Quantity Surveying and Billing of the project irrespective of inhospitable environment. 

• Site and Construction Management: Supervise all construction activities, providing technical inputs for methodologies of construction & coordination with site management activities including HSE management. 

• Interact with Vendors and Suppliers for achieving cost effective purchase of equipment, accessories, material with timely delivery so as to minimize project cost. 

• Plan and conduct internal quality audits on regular basis to ensure quality assurance plan and safety requirements. 

• Prepare and supply Project Execution Plan (PEP), Daily/Weekly/Monthly Progress reports. 

• Co-ordination and supervision for reading, circulating and checking of isometric, GA drawings, P&ID drawings and As Built drawings. 

• Making BOQ report for mainline and station piping material requirement, crossing list and coordinating for the same by communicating with concerned departmental authorities.

Job Requirement

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 10-20 years of experience in the Project and construction management across Oil and Gas, / Grinding/ Calcination/ Evaporation/ other metal extraction/ mining industry.

• Experience of LSTK/EPC scope of projects covering products such as process piping, Heavy Equipment Erection , fire hydrant and protection network, Structural Erection ,Insulation etc.

• Handled more than 500 workforce and 20+ project engineers.

• Experience with general contractor and  safety & quality requirements for site activities and have the ability to resolve customer issues to a satisfactory conclusion.

• Possesses the experience/skills to read and interpret blueprints, drawings,Layout and any related structural documents.

• Able to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Candidate must have demonstrated experience coordinating, facilitating discussions, consultation and conflict resolution skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of methods, technical codes like ASME & API, specifications and applications of oil & gas transmission pipeline and piping work. 

• Possess good leadership and interpersonal skills for managing work and multiple tasks. 

• Ability to work with minimum supervision and handle multiple tasks.

• Good understanding of project costing and ability to identify execution contractors
