Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Java applications integrated with Apache Spark for enterprise ETL processes and data analytics.
• Build, configure, and optimize Spark jobs utilizing Spark SQL, DataFrames, and Streaming for large-scale data processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional data engineers and analysts to implement robust and reliable data workflows.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable Java code adhering to best practices and software engineering standards.
• Develop and maintain backend microservices and RESTful services leveraging frameworks such as Spring Boot.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce quality standards, and create unit and integration test suites.
• Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, integration, and seamless deployment.
• Troubleshoot, tune, and optimize Apache Spark performance, memory management, and job execution for production workloads.
• Implement efficient data transformations and pipeline solutions to handle large volumes of structured and semi-structured data.
• Ensure data pipeline security, data consistency, and adherence to enterprise governance protocols.
• Document technical designs, pipeline workflows, and operational runbooks for cross-team alignment.
• Mentor junior developers and participate actively in sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
