Synopsys is seeking an experienced Staff Microsoft 365 Platform Engineer to join the enterprise IT engineering team in Bengaluru to architect, deploy, and support scalable cloud collaboration services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and optimize enterprise-wide Microsoft 365 platform services ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Administer and maintain core M365 workloads including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.
• Configure and enforce security policies, conditional access, and identity governance via Microsoft Entra ID.
• Develop and maintain complex PowerShell automation scripts for tenant administration, provisioning, and reporting.
• Implement data loss prevention (DLP), compliance policies, and retention rules using Microsoft Purview.
• Collaborate with cross-functional information security teams to monitor vulnerabilities and resolve audit findings.
• Lead complex tenant-to-tenant migrations, hybrid infrastructure integrations, and platform lifecycle upgrades.
• Monitor platform telemetry, usage analytics, and performance metrics to drive continuous service improvements.
• Manage vendor escalations with Microsoft support for deep technical troubleshooting and platform incident resolution.
• Establish technical governance standards, architecture documentation, and runbooks for operational support teams.
• Evaluate emerging Microsoft 365 features, tools, and roadmap releases to assess organizational impact and value.
