Sales Manager is a commercial and stakeholder-facing opportunity based in Rajkot, India.

The incumbent will collaborate closely with Retail, Product, Operations, RetailLiability, IT and other teams to provide a seamless, fulfilling customer experience and ensure IDFC First becomes the primary bank for all banking needs. Roles & Responsibilities Key / Primary Responsibilities       Identify branches and potential locations for GoldLoan business based on market surveys, competition mapping (NBFCs & banks) and volume analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• The incumbent will collaborate closely with Retail, Product, Operations, RetailLiability, IT and other teams to provide a seamless, fulfilling customer experience and ensure IDFC First becomes the primary bank for all banking needs
• Roles & Responsibilities Key / Primary Responsibilities       Identify branches and potential locations for GoldLoan business based on market surveys, competition mapping (NBFCs & banks) and volume analysis
•       Increase distribution channels by identifying nonbranch avenues for GoldLoan sales
• Support the full customer cycle by positioning Sales Manager solutions against real business and technical needs.
• Lead discovery conversations to understand requirements, constraints, and buying criteria.
• Translate product capabilities into clear value propositions for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Partner with account teams on demos, proofs of concept, proposals, and solution documentation.
• Address technical objections with credible, well-structured responses grounded in product realities.
• Collaborate with product and implementation teams to shape feasible customer solutions.
• Document customer requirements, success criteria, and technical feedback for internal alignment.
• Maintain strong follow-through across opportunity stages, handoffs, and stakeholder updates.
• Identify expansion, adoption, or risk signals and surface them to the right internal teams early.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in business, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical topics into business value.
• Experience navigating client discussions, solution demos, or consultative selling workflows.
• Comfort working cross-functionally with sales, product, implementation, and support teams.
• Strong follow-through, documentation discipline, and commercial awareness.
• Ability to manage multiple customer conversations and priorities with clear ownership.
