Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust backend applications using Core Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Architect, build, and optimize scalable microservices handling high-throughput transactional traffic.
• Implement object-relational mapping and complex database operations using JPA and Hibernate.
• Integrate event-driven messaging architectures using Apache Kafka for real-time data streams.
• Automate application builds, dependency management, and delivery pipelines using Maven or Gradle.
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) to deliver clean, maintainable code.
• Containerize backend services using Docker for standardized deployments across environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, UX, and product teams to refine requirements and ship features.
• Build and consume secure, versioned RESTful APIs adhering to open web standards.
• Profile, debug, and fine-tune database queries and JVM performance parameters.
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies, peer code reviews, and technical documentation.
