Responsibilities

• Lead technical packaging innovation and design projects across consumer product categories.
• Evaluate novel packaging materials, focusing on recyclability, circularity, and sustainability goals.
• Design, prototype, and test structural primary and secondary packaging formats.
• Conduct laboratory testing for package integrity, drop resistance, leakage, and shelf-life stability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product formulation, brand management, and supply network teams.
• Troubleshoot technical packaging defects and implement corrective actions during manufacturing scale-up.
• Define clear packaging technical specifications, bill of materials (BOM), and quality criteria.
• Manage trial runs on pilot plant and high-speed factory lines to validate packaging performance.
• Ensure compliance of all packaging designs with international regulatory and safety guidelines.
• Partner with global packaging suppliers to evaluate new technologies and cost-optimization opportunities.
• Perform competitive benchmarking and consumer usability studies on product packaging.
• Present research findings, trial outcomes, and project timelines to senior technical leadership.
