Pocket FM is seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to lead quality initiatives across audio streaming products in Bengaluru.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and execute scalable end-to-end automation frameworks for mobile and web platforms.
• Define test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases for complex distributed services.
• Implement API testing suites using tools like RestAssured, Postman, or custom Python scripts.
• Integrate test automation suites into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous delivery and quality gates.
• Collaborate closely with product engineering teams to diagnose, track, and resolve system bottlenecks.
• Perform non-functional testing including load, stress, scalability, and performance benchmarking.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production bugs and drive actionable quality improvements.
• Mentor junior quality engineers on automated testing best practices and framework development.
• Monitor test execution reports, test coverage metrics, and reliability dashboards.
• Advocate for best practices in software architecture, testability, and code quality across teams.
