Executive - Mining Operations · Bengaluru

NMDC is seeking qualified and experienced professionals for regular Executive positions to manage and drive operational excellence at the Tokisud North Coal Mines in Jharkhand.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily open-cast coal extraction and overburden removal operations to meet production targets.
• Supervise drilling, blasting, excavation, and hauling activities in strict adherence to DGMS safety guidelines.
• Coordinate the optimal deployment, scheduling, and utilization of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM).
• Ensure stringent adherence to the Mines Act, Coal Mines Regulations, and statutory safety protocols.
• Monitor mine slope stability, geotechnical conditions, and pit safety through routine field inspections.
• Collaborate with mine planning teams to execute short-term and long-term mine development schedules.
• Manage operational shift supervisors, technicians, and contracted workforce across multiple operational shifts.
• Track coal quality, sizing, and grading parameters during mining, handling, and dispatch operations.
• Maintain comprehensive shift production logs, safety compliance reports, and statutory documentation registers.
• Coordinate with plant and equipment maintenance teams to minimize machine downtime and enhance reliability.
• Enforce environmental management plans including dust suppression, water management, and afforestation measures.
• Support statutory audits and liaison activities with regulatory authorities and inspection bodies.
