Lister Digital is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade microservices and event-driven applications deployed on Azure or AWS cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java microservices using Spring Boot and microservices design patterns.
• Build secure, well-documented RESTful APIs following OpenAPI and Swagger standards.
• Architect event-driven solutions utilizing Apache Kafka for distributed data streaming.
• Develop and optimize data access layers using Spring Data JPA and Hibernate.
• Design schemas and optimize queries across relational and NoSQL databases.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito following TDD practices.
• Containerize backend applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes.
• Build and manage automated CI/CD deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Implement enterprise security, authentication, and authorization using Spring Security.
• Integrate search and analytics capabilities using OpenSearch.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and enforce clean architecture and SOLID principles.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-scale solutions.
