Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day retail banking operations and customer transactions at the branch counter.
• Assist walk-in customers with queries regarding savings accounts, term deposits, and banking services.
• Process cash deposits, withdrawals, cheques, and demand drafts in accordance with bank procedures.
• Guide customers through the documentation required for opening new accounts and updating records.
• Verify identity and address documentation to maintain strict KYC and AML compliance.
• Educate customers on digital banking platforms, including internet banking and mobile apps.
• Promote and cross-sell bank products such as fixed deposits, cards, insurance, and loans.
• Handle balance inquiries, issue account statements, and update passbooks accurately.
• Resolve basic customer grievances promptly or escalate them to branch managers as appropriate.
• Maintain proper ledger entries and reconcile daily cash balances before closing counter operations.
• Adhere to statutory regulations, audit requirements, and internal operational guidelines of the bank.
