Go Gauge Logistics is seeking an experienced Import/Export Operations Manager to lead end-to-end import and export operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, efficient cargo movement, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day import and export operations across both ocean and air freight channels.
• Coordinate directly with shipping lines, freight forwarders, Custom House Agents (CHA), transporters, and suppliers.
• Ensure the accurate preparation, verification, and filing of documents including Bill of Lading (BL), Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and Certificates of Origin.
• Oversee customs clearance procedures and ensure strict adherence to all international trade laws and statutory regulations.
• Monitor active shipment milestones and deliver proactive transit updates to clients and internal management.
• Negotiate competitive freight rates and contract terms with carriers, shipping lines, and logistics vendors.
• Plan and execute logistics strategies including route optimization, cargo consolidation, and shipment scheduling.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with overseas partners and global network agents.
• Address and swiftly resolve operational bottlenecks, customs queries, and shipment exceptions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and audit trails in compliance with company standard operating procedures.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver actionable reporting on operational efficiency and costs.
• Train, guide, and mentor junior operations team members to maintain high service quality standards.
