Key Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable backend services and distributed systems using Python.
• Develop robust, secure RESTful APIs utilizing Django and Flask frameworks.
• Collaborate with product managers and frontend engineers to translate product specifications into production-ready software.
• Design, optimize, and maintain relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Implement caching mechanisms and message queues using Redis or RabbitMQ for performance optimization.
• Write clean, modular, and testable code following test-driven development (TDD) best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to uphold coding standards and architectural guidelines.
• Manage cloud deployments and containerize services using Docker and orchestration tools.
• Identify system bottlenecks and implement proactive solutions for backend latency and throughput.
• Integrate third-party APIs, webhooks, and payment gateways into existing platform architectures.
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
