Cognizant is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer (AI Test Automation) to design and drive next-generation automated quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, or Python.
• Incorporate AI and machine learning capabilities to enhance test case generation and execution.
• Develop, execute, and monitor automated test scripts across functional, regression, and integration suites.
• Perform API automation testing using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent frameworks.
• Integrate test automation suites into continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Collaborate with software development and product management teams to understand feature specifications.
• Analyze test run results, identify defects, log detailed issues, and track resolutions.
• Evaluate existing testing processes and implement continuous improvements to maximize test coverage.
• Perform root-cause analysis for automation failures and maintain stable test environments.
• Mentor junior quality engineers on automated testing best practices and industry standards.
• Participate in agile sprint ceremonies, sprint planning, and test estimation activities.
