Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the end-to-end payroll processing and administration, ensuring smooth execution in line with company policies and statutory requirements.

  • Accurately calculate and verify employee salaries, allowances, benefits, deductions, and reimbursements in compliance with organizational policies, employment agreements, and applicable legal regulations.

  • Ensure the timely and accurate entry of employee data, including timesheets, attendance records, and other relevant payroll information, maintaining the integrity of payroll records.

  • Address employee queries related to payroll, ensuring a prompt and effective resolution of concerns regarding salary, deductions, benefits, and other related matters.

  • Generate and analyze various payroll reports, such as payroll summaries, tax statements, and labor cost breakdowns, ensuring they are aligned with financial reporting requirements.

  • Assist with payroll tax computations, statutory deductions (e.g., Provident Fund, Professional Tax, Gratuity, etc.), and submissions to ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal tax regulations.

  • Perform periodic audits and verifications of payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing.

  • Support the implementation of new payroll systems, process automation, and system upgrades to improve payroll efficiency and accuracy.

  • Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing payroll procedures, ensuring scalability, and enhancing overall system effectiveness.

  • Foster and maintain strong working relationships with external payroll service providers, vendors, and third-party contractors to ensure smooth payroll operations.

  • Collaborate closely with the HR and Finance teams for accounting entries, payroll provisions and payroll report closures.
