Product Manager, Patient Messa · Bengaluru

Join athenahealth's Patient Experience division to drive product strategy and execution for the Patient Messaging Zone, building AI-enabled communication capabilities connecting patients and care teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage the multi-quarter product strategy and roadmap for assigned capabilities within Patient Messaging.
• Understand workflows of patients, front-office staff, and clinical care teams to uncover key messaging pain points.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and UX teams to design safe, usable, and trustworthy AI-driven features.
• Partner with product leadership in Bangalore and US-based stakeholders to align product priorities and vision.
• Translate complex customer requirements into structured PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Track engagement, adoption, and performance metrics across communication channels using product analytics tools.
• Ensure messaging solutions adhere to healthcare patient safety, compliance, and responsible AI standards.
• Coordinate with release management and go-to-market teams to ensure seamless feature rollouts.
• Conduct continuous customer discovery and gather feedback from healthcare provider networks.
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release prioritization as a dedicated product owner.
