Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and customize Guidewire applications including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter.
- Develop and maintain business logic, data models, rules, and workflows using Gosu and Java.
- Build and support RESTful and SOAP integration points between Guidewire and external third-party enterprise systems.
- Participate in architectural discussions to ensure scalable, maintainable, and reliable implementation patterns.
- Review code deliverables to ensure compliance with coding standards, security requirements, and design specifications.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex defects and production incidents within Guidewire environments.
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical specs.
- Create and execute unit and integration test scripts to validate software functionality before release.
- Optimize application performance, database queries, and batch processing schedules.
- Document technical designs, integration architectures, and operational procedures for ongoing support.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
