Ameriprise Financial is seeking an experienced professional for the position of Manager, RiverSource Vendor Management to oversee vendor relationships, governance, and operational service levels supporting business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day relationships with key RiverSource external vendors and service providers.
• Monitor and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) across all vendor engagements.
• Lead periodic vendor performance reviews, governance meetings, and scorecards.
• Collaborate with internal procurement, legal, and compliance teams on vendor contract negotiations and renewals.
• Identify operational and third-party vendor risks and drive risk mitigation strategies.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for operational issues, service outages, and billing discrepancies.
• Track vendor spend, analyze invoices against contractual terms, and support budget forecasting.
• Drive continuous process improvement and cost optimization initiatives across vendor portfolios.
• Coordinate onboarding, due diligence, and offboarding activities for third-party partners.
• Partner with business unit leaders to understand ongoing operational requirements and evaluate vendor capabilities.
• Maintain thorough documentation and audit-ready records for all vendor governance activities.
