Associate Director - Corporate is a senior corporate finance and strategy role based in Mumbai, India, with ownership across capital planning, fundraising, and leadership decision support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead long-range financial planning, scenario modelling, and executive-level decision support for strategic priorities.
  • Drive fundraising and transaction readiness by shaping materials, diligence workflows, investor responses, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Translate complex financial and business data into crisp recommendations for senior management and board-level reviews.
  • Own capital allocation and balance-sheet planning discussions in partnership with finance and leadership teams.
  • Evaluate strategic initiatives, partnerships, and expansion opportunities using rigorous commercial and financial analysis.
  • Oversee management reporting cadences, ensuring metrics, assumptions, and commentary remain decision-useful and reliable.
  • Coordinate with legal, tax, treasury, compliance, and operations teams to keep critical workstreams on track.
  • Anticipate execution risks, process gaps, and dependency issues early, then drive mitigation plans.
  • Strengthen reporting, planning, and governance frameworks to improve operating discipline at scale.
  • Prepare leadership-ready narratives, briefing notes, and review materials for high-stakes internal and external meetings.
  • Mentor junior team members on analytical quality, stakeholder management, and business rigor.
  • Represent a high-accountability, high-ownership approach across corporate finance and strategic projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors/Undergraduate Degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in corporate finance, strategic finance, treasury, consulting, or investment banking.
  • Deep comfort with valuation, modelling, planning, and executive communication.
  • Ability to manage confidential, cross-functional, and time-sensitive workstreams.
  • Strong commercial judgment and a structured approach to ambiguity.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders with clear, evidence-based recommendations.
